Many podcasts have begun streaming over ‘https’ which our existing IR radios cannot support.
Take this example: http://feeds.wnyc.org/onthemedia
You can see this by inspecting the code – painful I know but here is how you can see it without any specialized tools
Load up browser -- we use chrome but any will do
Go to the page http://feeds.wnyc.org/onthemedia
All looks fine and well --- now right click the mouse and ask to ‘view source code’
That will bring up a new page with lots and lots of html code --- don’t worry about trying to understand it all.
Press ‘Control F’ this will give to a tiny search box. Enter in the text
.mp3
It will report in this case 200 hits and they are highlighted. If you browse down you will see that they are :
